Note: the server is running by Moscow time GMT+3. There is no summer time in Russia, so the server time is shifted one hour ago compared to the summer period. Use the \info command to check the current server time.

2009-07-09: 13 years of DarkSwords (Updates)

Dear friends, 13 years ago, October 21th, 2004, the first DarkSwords server was opened at Alkar game-platform (Ukraine). From this date we had to consider the beginning of our game history. Congratulate all players with this significant event! We are doing our best for the further game development. Thank you for staying with us. Hope, our work and project will bring you more positive emotions.

From 20th to 30th of October get 25% more of the platinum purchased from dealers!
On 20th, 21th and 22th of October, the holiday bonuses are ON: x2 Religion EXP, x2 EXP from monsters, x1.5 Gold from monsters, x2 Damage to monsters.
From October 21th to October 25th in Arkijah meet a new questgiver: Programmer with several quests and special gifts.
On October 21th at 14:00 and 22:30 (server time) will be an admin quest: the region (religion area) will be announced, and the players who killed mobs more than others in this region will get prizes.
On October 21th at 15:00 and 23:00 the quest "Find Admin" will be held. You will need to be the first who find the admin with a help of some tips, and offer him a trade with special item, which he will ask in advance.
October 21th at 16:00 and 00:00 (by server time) all online players can participate in the command “roll” championship at the location #2020 (Arkijah) to. During one minute you have only 3 tries to enter the roll command, and who will get the largest number also will get a prize. Who will make more, will be disqualified and the prize will not be given at all.
On October 21th at 20:30 (server time) you can get a piece of festive cake. All players who will be online at this time will get a special gift: “A piece of festive cake”. It gives HP/MP bonus (not included in the spheres limit, can be used only one it the same time and non-soulbound). Lets see how many characters you have ;)

2009-07-07: SELLING, BUYING, and SHARING of ACCOUNTS (Updates)

The selling and buying of accounts between players is NOT permitted Punishment for this is a Character BAN. Also giving away an account will deemed to be selling so therefore will suffer the same fate. The sharing of a character is on own risk of the owner, The sharing of an account could result in the same response as the above disiplinery actions 3.1.4. of Service Usage Terms and Conditions. User has no right to pass his registration (login and password) to the third party as well as to accept registration from the third party.

During July we will be cleaning up all the RELIGIOUS CHEATING that has been done. If you admit to having CHEATED, you have until Wednesday 8th July to REPENT your SINS To http://darkswords.eu/ticket/ Your punishment will be lighter than those that do not repent. Mark your ticket with “REPENTING SINS” also include your ingame nickname On July 10th BALL AND CHAINS WILL BE HANDED OUT. Players found to have killed characters on the same IP address who have not repented also risk the chance of a character ban. REMEMBER YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE ...WE WILL FIND YOU!!!

2009-07-01: Client update v 2.1.3.8 (Updates)

We have slightly optimized chat flow during the battle, and also reduced the hard drive load in the new client version. Hopefully this will reduce customer problems during the huge battles. We also took a number of measures to solve the problem, when sometimes you can bought excessive items in shops. If the error will repeat, please contact us via tickets.

2009-06-28: Cursed Water (Updates)

Cursed water has been changed since new changes came to the game. It cost now only 25 plat instead of 50 plat as before. And it makes your disease become straight 3rd stage. So, basicaly, the process to change decease must happen now this way- buying holy grail, using it, getting the disease you need with a way it supposed to be getting, and then using cursed water to get 3rd stage disease. Totaly you are spending 50 plat same as before.
