Dark Swords Chat Rules

Chat rules are necessary so that players can communicate, trade, and discuss the game without spam, insults, and intentional provocations. 2. General Chat (Say) and Paid Messages (GRA)

In addition to the main rules, it is forbidden:

Punishment: mute for 15 or 30 minutes.

  • 2.8. Insulting or distorting players' nicknames. The ban also applies to pet names and pseudonyms used for communication in the general chat.

Punishment: mute for 15 or 30 minutes.

The rules also apply to paid GRA messages, the auto-responder, and character information.

The trade chat is intended for buying, selling, exchanging in-game values and offering in-game services.

It is forbidden here:

4. Private Chats

Private chats include:

  • Whisp — private messages;

  • Group — group chat;

  • Clan — clan chat;

  • Ally — alliance chat.

The main rules from section 1 apply in these chats. Additional restrictions of the general and trade chats do not apply to them, except for cases explicitly provided for by these rules.

In private messages, it is forbidden to insult players' relatives and use racial slurs.

For insulting relatives and racial slurs in private messages, a mute of 30 minutes, 3, or 6 hours is provided. Other violations in private chats are punished at the moderator's discretion.

If another player interferes with your communication, use the "Ignore" function: right-click on their nickname and select the corresponding command.

Clan leaders and advisors can restrict the communication of their clan members. In particularly gross or repeated cases of antisocial behavior in the clan or alliance chat, moderators may intervene.

The auto-responder and character information are moderated according to the general chat rules, but trade messages are allowed there.

5. Private Messages to Administration Representatives

In private messages to administrators, moderators, helpers, and judges, it is forbidden:

  • Using profanity and obscene expressions.

  • Insulting Administration representatives.

  • Cluttering private messages and interfering with the work of Administration representatives.

If you need help, describe the problem to the point and do not send multiple identical messages.

Punishments for violations in private messages to Administration representatives are determined by the Administration.

6. Additional Provisions
  • 6.1. Moderators have the right to deviate from the specified mute periods if necessary and choose punishment taking into account the specific situation.

  • 6.2. If a violation carries a mute of 5 or 15 minutes, the moderator has the right to replace it with a warning.

  • 6.3. In cases provided for by the rules, stricter punishments, including a ban, may be applied.

  • 6.4. You can find out which moderators are on duty using the \duty_list command.

  • 6.5. Administration representatives are also required to comply with chat rules.

  • 6.6. Dealers are considered regular players when applying chat rules.

  • 6.7. It is forbidden to abuse the support service and the complaint function. Multiple identical complaints, spamming complaints, and intentional clogging of the complaint system can lead to punishment.

  • 6.8. It is forbidden to use offensive or obscene names for characters and pets, as well as to pass off pets as real players using similar nicknames.

  • 6.9. A moderator's warning is a requirement to stop the violation and prevent its repetition.

  • 6.10. In exceptional cases, moderators can block chat, send a character to penal servitude or prison within their authority.

  • 6.11. A player can ask a moderator to disable their chat for a period of 12 to 24 hours. Early removal of such a restriction is not provided.

  • 6.12. Moderators and helpers must not use mutes for casual communication with players.

  • 6.13. The Administration has the right to amend and supplement the rules.

Important:

Ignorance of the rules does not exempt from responsibility. The final decision on punishment is made by an authorized representative of the Administration within their authority.
