Bulletin board

In Dark Swords, to earn experience or gold, players take missions from Bulletin boards. Boards are in every town and on other continents.

The region where you can take missions depends on the character’s level range:

minLevel = level − 20; maxLevel = level × 1.5

• 0–246: Golden Kingdom
• 151–274: Millenia Realm
• 171–305: Black Realm
• 187–500: Lunar Empire
• 197–390: Mirror Realm
• 194–500: Blizzard Domains
• 232–385: Underworld
• 239–410: World of Myths
• 66–131; 150–279: Free Lands

Missions come in three difficulty colours

Red — hardest.

Yellow — medium.

Green — easiest.

There are also two mission types.

Find and kill a set number of monsters.

Find certain monsters and loot an item from them.

Mission refresh cost:

cost of one mission = (X × Y + 1) × 5 X — level. Y — multiplier: levels 0–99: Y = 15 levels 100–379: Y = ((X − 99) × 0.25 + 15) levels 380+: Y = 85

Completing board missions grants emeralds by combat level:

• 0–199: 1 emerald
• 200–360: 2 emeralds
• 360+: 3 emeralds

Check amounts via the Wallet button in inventory.

For enough Merit Points characters receive Merit medals. More missions — higher medal rank. There are 10 medal kinds (points shown below):
