2010-10-11: Race reset service. (Updates)
We would like to bring to your attention the price reduction for "Character Race and starting parameters reset". The price: 100 platinum (the standard price - 250 pt). 2010-10-08: Region Bonuses (Updates)
The regions clans can have under their control were all assigned specific types. They can also now gain levels. Controlled lands now produce useful items for the owner clans with chance that varies from 40 to 100% depending on the land level:
  • Close to water : 40% - Improved Jig, 30% - Fishing Pole, 20% - Spincast Rod, 10% - Ice Fishing Set
  • Fertile ground : 20% - Sapropel х100, 20% - Potash х100, 20% - rrigation Water х100, 15% - Mechanic Mower, 15% Lifegiving Seed, 10% Druidic Grindstone х50.
  • Resident alchemist : 10% - One of 10 variants of 3 teleports to different regions
  • Gold vein : 75% - 1 000 000 gold, 20% - 5 000 000 gold, 5% - 15 000 000 gold
Warning! The items generated by this mechanism are Soulbound and bind to the character who retrieves them from Clan storage!

The maximum region level is 5. Below is the detailed level benefits table:
  • Level 1 – 40% chance of producing items
  • Level 2 – 50% chance, +25% damage to monsters during sieges
  • Level 3 – 60% chance, +50% damage to monsters during sieges
  • Level 4 – 70% chance, +75% damage to monsters during sieges
  • Level 5 – 100% chance, +100% damage to monsters during sieges
The region level can be increased by any clan member using “Set of Tools” when physically located in the region. The region level will reset back to 1 when the region changes hands. You can receive the Set of Tools item as a Roulette prize, purchase it by spending 3 Conquest points, or for 3 platinum.

2010-10-06: Religious "Hearts" (Updates)
From the next server restart (7 of October) items classed as "Sinner/Zombie/Deadman/Repentant Heart" same as "Platinum Heart" can be used only in locations called "Stairways to Heaven" and similar to them.

This is a friendly reminder to all players about use of 3rd party programs in DarkSwords game. Any use of 3rd party programs in the game is strictly forbidden and players that will be caught using such programs will by severely punished.

Hello fellow DS players, we would like to bring to your attention that up from today "SugarDaddy" is leaving his post as an Admin. He was doing a great job and we want to thank him for his dedication and commitment. For all of you who are saddened to hear this news please don't be, "SugarDaddy" is not leaving us and will be appointed for a new position as a Dealer and will continue to devote himself to the game and his friends. 2010-09-16: Changes to "Sleight of Hands" skill (Updates)
Some changes were made to the function of the "Sleight of Hands" skill, neutral characters that do not belong to any of the Religious Cults or characters with lvl /0 in religion are unable to use this skill in Religious War Zones against characters with the religion level above zero, in Chaos Zones the rules stays unchanged.
2010-08-20: Message about presents (Updates)
Finally we did it! Players will get messages about donated presents with sender info. If a player was offline, the message will be sent during the next login.
2010-08-16: Changes to buff potions (Updates)
Changes for the effect of "Paladins Aura" and "Espionage". Time duration of these effects will now be counted down even in Peace Zone.
